Summer workshop with the Paulerspury Players

I have a 5 day summer workshop booked with the Paulerspury Players taking place 13th-17th August!

Young people can come along for a week of fun and friendship, writing their own lyrics - these can be sang, rapped or just simply spoken.
They will also be preparing dance moves to songs. We are collaborating with a dance tutor to use street dance and other choreography to depict the theme chosen.

On the last day there will be a performance showcasing what they've been up to in the week. Friends and family are welcome to come along and watch!

The week will be fairly flexible where the young people will have a lot of control over which theme they'd like and how they'd like the choreography to look, with us there to help and support them where needed.

Come along and watch on 17th August to see all their hard work!

The seven dwarves have characteristically lovable parts and the audience have a job to wake 'Dozy' as he keeps falling asleep throughout...!

Paulerspury Players panto, Cinderella - showing 23rd - 26th Feb

Shows have commenced for our annual pantomime - this year, the classic, Cinderella.
The audience have received us well and got involved in the participation element very enthusiastically. Grimelda and the ugly sisters were so convincing on the opening night that a little boy in the front row looked close to tears!
On the second night Dandini nearly dropped the glass slipper when Cindrella runs from the ball but avoided a near disaster by acting perfectly as if it was planned - this gained her almost the biggest clap of the night!
The children loved coming up on stage at the end to sing the Community Song with Buttons as loudly as possible earning them sweets from Dim and Wit as they returned back to their seats.
By the second night the sound levels were balanced well, meaning the vocal parts and both keyboard parts are heard clearly.
Looking forward to the next three shows - see you there!
